Mr Bradshaw went to St John’s School before becoming a sheet metal worker at Langbridges. He retired aged 61 from Lucas Aerospace.

Mr O’Brien, known as Tom, went to St Anne’s RC School from the age of three to 14 and after leaving worked as a farrier, shoeing horses at the Corporation Street Stables in Moreton Street.

Wife of the late Benjamin, Mrs Baron was born in Accrington and trained as a nurse in Burnley, before working in Accrington Victoria Hospital as a State Registered Nurse.

Mrs Holmes served in the Women's Royal Air Force during the Second World War and went on to work in a number of different accounting roles.

Mr Lawson, of Royds Avenue, Accrington, qualified as a dental surgeon in 1956, but did not begin practising until he completed three years service in the Royal Navy.

Mr Wolstencroft worked at Metflex at Great Harwood but was unemployed at the time of his death.

Mr Alltree served in the Army for eight years and worked in various roles as a driver before leaving work due to long term ill health.

After leaving school Mrs Sutton worked at a weaving mill in Duckworth Hall for a couple of years before being employed at Rists Wires and Cables in Accrington and Blackburn for 20 years. She worked there up to taking early retirement due to ill health.
