Audrey Smith

A WOMAN who was a welfare assistant for nearly 20 years at Peel Park Primary School has died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 80.
Mrs Audrey Joyce Smith, of Avenue Parade, Accrington also worked in Steiner's and Broad Oak Mills.
She enjoyed doing crosswords, going on holiday and watching television.
She was also a member of St Paul’s Church, in Accrington.
Wife of the late Fred, she leaves daughter, Angela, son-in-law, John, granddaughter Rachel and grandson Chris.
She was cremated at Accrington on Tuesday after a service held by the Rev Eric Booth at St Paul's Church, in Accrington.
