A FORMER progress clerk at English Electric and Platt Saco Lowell, Mr Henry (Harry) Taylor, of Tanpits Road, Church, has died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital aged 86.
A member of various working men’s clubs, he was the husband of the late Edith and leaves children David and Helen, in-laws Louise and Alan and grandchildren Jamie, Liam, Rebecca, Anthony, Andrew, Darren, Shawn and Dawn.
He enjoyed most sports, particularly bowls and snooker, and used to be on the committee of the Observer snooker competition.
Arrangements: Kirby and Hughes.
