Peter Ball

A MAIL order delivery van driver for 25 years, Mr Peter James Ball, of Fordside Avenue, Clayton-le-Moors, has died at the East Lancashire Hospice at the age of 66.
The husband of Sylvia, he had worked for the company White Arrow and six years previously was a member of the Coldstream Guards.
He enjoyed running, cycling, going on country walks and moto-cross.
He leaves sons Stephen and Joseph, daughter-in-law Annette, grandson Jamie, and sisters Kathleen and Jean.
He is due to be cremated at Accrington today (Friday) following a service conducted by the Rev John Tranter.
