A WOMAN known for her sense of fun and "live for today’’ attitude, Mrs Renee Cole, has died aged 79 at her home in Buckingham Grove, Church.
She lived and worked for most of her life in Church and enjoyed her time at several jobs including Lupton’s Engineering, Nori Brick and Express Gifts.
A worshipper at St James Church Kirk, Church, she enjoyed gardening and baking for family and friends. She enjoyed a social drink with friends in the local pubs of Church and Accrington, which she missed when she became housebound through arthritis.
She leaves children Geoff, Mark and Pete, daughters-in-law Elaine, Noreen and Ann and grandchildren Gillian, Lee, Harry, Lee, Zoe, Esther, Melanie, Louise and Jennifer. She was also the mother of the late Roland and grandma of the late Kelly, as well as being a great-grandma.
She was buried at Accrington Cemetery yesterday (Thursday) following a service at St James Church Kirk conducted by Father Neville Ashton.
