Elizabeth Hart

FORMER chocolate maker Mrs Elizabeth (Betty) Hart has died at her home in Spring Hill Road, Accrington, aged 66.

Mrs Hart worked for Stockley’s Sweets for 12 years as a chocolate dipper, making hand-made chocolates.

Before that she had been an assembly worker at Ewbank for 15 years.

She loved holidays in Cornwall and was devoted to her husband and family.

She and husband Charles would have been married for 50 years in December.

She also leaves her daughter Alison, son Tony, grandchildren Tom, Daniel and Rachael and a sister Ann.

Canon Michael Ratcliffe will conduct the funeral at Accrington Crematorium today (Friday).
