William Davison

TRAINING officer for Mullard’s in Blackburn from 1954 to 1984, Mr William Davison, has died in the Royal Blackburn Hospital aged 90.

Mr Davison, of Dudley Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, also worked as a caretaker at Accrington Library and helped in the family shop in Church until he retired.

A member of Elim Pentecostal Church in Blackburn, he loved his Bible study and reading.

The husband of the late Kathleen, he leaves children Bill and Barbara and grandchild Kat. He was also father-in-law of the late John.

Pastor Bob Clarke will conduct a service at Elim on Monday before burial at Accrington Cemetery.
