Elizabeth McGregor

ELVIS fan Mrs Elizabeth McGregor, known as Betty, has died in Burnley General Hospital at the age of 69.
She worked as a machinist at Broad Oak Mill, Accrington, for a number of years and was caretaker at Lee Royd Children’s Nursery for over 10 years up to her retirement.
The wife of the late John, she was a member of Brooks Club, Canine Club and the British Legion Club, Accrington, and enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles especially crosswords and entering newspaper competitions. A family woman, she enjoyed socialising with friends.
She leaves children John, James, Donna, Angela and Scott, granddaughter Nicola and son-in-law Shaun.
She will be cremated at Accrington on Monday 30 June following a service conducted by the Rev Roger Parker.
