Joan Hesmondhalgh

A LOYAL member of the Mormon Church, Mrs Joan Hesmondhalgh, has died in the East Lancashire Hospice aged 59.
Mrs Hesmondhalgh, of Higher Antley Street, Accrington, taught small children at her church for a number of years.
She had more recently discovered amateur dramatics and enjoyed the productions in which she had been involved.
She also took a computer course and threw herself into any new challenge with gusto.
Mrs Hesmondhalgh had started work in the mills but was a devoted mother and housewife for many years.
She leaves children Nigel, Mark, Anthony, Joan and Brian, grandchildren Nikila, Rio, Daniel, Kelise and Addison, and brothers and sister John, Peter, David, Michael and Rita.
Mr Tim Morgan conducted a service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Friday 1 August followed by cremation at Accrington.
