Melvyn Feeney

A MAN who loved walking in the Yorkshire Dales has died aged 64 in Lancaster Royal Hospital.

Mr Melvyn Feeney, formerly of Oswaldtwistle, lived in Low Demesne Close, Ingleton.

The husband of Kathleen, he worked all his life as a self-employed joiner.

Mr Feeney, who liked reading and spending time with his grandchildren, was the father of Laura and the late Lisa and father-in-law of Neil. He leaves grandchildren Daniel, Melissa, Bethany, Rebecca and Connor and was a brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

He was cremated at Accrington on Friday 1 August following a service at St Anne’s RC Church conducted by Father Seamus Quigley.
