Stephen Watson

JOINER Mr Stephen James Watson has died aged 59 in the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Mr Watson, of Burnley Road, Accrington, served a seven-year apprenticeship with Edmondson’s Joiners on Nuttall Street, Accrington, and then moved to other companies, including Stonyhurst College as a maintenance joiner.
He also worked for Ross Lee Construction before finishing his career on bar refurbishment work for Tavern Developments. He had also spent a number of years being self- employed.
The son of Sally and the late James, he leaves children Mark and Sarah and brothers Tony, Andrew and Sean. He was also the brother of the late Robert Michael and the late Graham. He was also a cousin and uncle.
A member of Bold Street WMC, Accrington, he was a Blackburn Rovers fan and loved watching Formula 1 racing, playing snooker and socialising.
There will be a humanist service on Thursday 4 September, conducted by Mr Eddie Joyce, before cremation at Accrington.
