May Robinson

FORMER bank manager Mrs May Robinson, of Harwood Lane, Great Harwood, has died in the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 83.
Mrs Robinson worked at the Co-operative Bank in Great Harwood for many years. She also gathered donations for the Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Her hobbies included listening to music, watching TV, baking, and shopping. The past 22 years of her life had been devoted to looking after her two grandchildren and more recently her great-grandchild.
Mrs Robinson was the wife of the late William. She leaves daughter Ruth, son Mark (Bud), granddaughters Rachel and Bekki, great-granddaughter Chloe, son-in-law Ron, daughter-in-law Jo and sister Dot.
A service and cremation at Accrington will be conducted by the Rev Ken Fitzsimmons on Monday 15 September.
