Eva Pemberton

A WEAVER for many years, Mrs Eva Pemberton, of Wellington Court, Accrington, has died at Belvedere Nursing Home, Accrington, aged 73.
Mrs Pemberton worked as a weaver for many years and also had 20 years’ service at Rists Wires.
She met her husband Jim while he was a bus driver and she was his clippie. She enjoyed dancing at the Poplar Club and also sequence dancing at Accrington Town Hall.
She also enjoyed holidays twice a year in Benidorm with her husband.
As well as her husband, sheleaves daughters Arlene, Anne and Andrea, sisters Eileen and Patsy, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Alan.
There will be a service and cremation at Accrington on Thursday 18 September.
