ANIMAL-lover Mrs Catherine Price has died in Church View Residential Home, Oswaldtwistle, aged 94.
Mrs Price moved up north from the south of England to live in Lytham St Annes when her late husband Ernest retired. When he died she moved to Church View.
She was very fond of animals, keeping a dog in her younger years and enjoyed bird-watching.
Proud of her grandchildren, Mrs Price was the mother of the late Denise and leaves son-in-law Jess, a brother and a sister, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her granddaughter Trudy flew from America to attend the funeral at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday, conducted by the Rev Michael Ratcliffe.
