Alice Warburton

MRS Alice Warburton has died at her home in Cleveleys at the age of 93.
The wife of the late Roland, she started her working life as a weaver at Peel Mill, Accrington, and in her later years worked at the National Mill Stores in Accrington and English Electric in Clayton-le-Moors. She ended her working life at her late brother Jos’s shop on Cambridge Street, Accrington.
During her younger days she enjoyed cycling and dancing and in her later life like dining out and visiting relatives.
She leaves her brother Walter, cousin Edna, nephew David and his daughter Sarah and grandson Harry.
