Marie Brockbank

FORMER clerk Mrs Marie Brockbank has died at her home in Hollins Lane, Accrington.
The wife of Harold, she worked for the Inland Revenue for 10 years and then at Joseph Arnold’s as a wages clerk for five years.
A member of Rossendale Flower Club, she was also a former member of Stonefold CE Church and St James CE Church, Haslingden.
A very keen gardener who enjoyed flower arranging, she also liked sailing and walking.
She leaves children Mark, Jane and Adam, grandson Elliott and siblings Kathleen and John.
She was cremated at Accrington on Monday 13 October following a service at St James, Haslingden, conducted by the Rev Roger Smith.
