Lily Aspin

FORMER confectioner Mrs Lily Aspin has died in the Royal Blackburn Hospital aged 76.
Mrs Aspin, of Mapleford Nursing Home, Huncoat, formerly lived in Blackburn and attended St Theresa’s RC Church in the town.
She enjoyed baking cakes, walking her dog, visiting friends and chatting with her granddaughter Caroline.
The wife of the late Roy Grimshaw, she also leaves a son John.
Father John Daly will conduct the funeral at Accrington Crematorium on Monday 20 October.
