David Cardwell

A MAN who worked as a doorman at Accrington pubs and clubs for many years, Mr David Norman Cardwell, has died in the Royal Blackburn Hospital aged 54.
Mr Cardwell, of Woodley Avenue, Accrington, also worked as a self-employed hod carrier for 28 years.
A member of the Canine WMC, Accrington, he enjoyed socialising and gardening and had a dog, Mia, with whom he walked for miles.
In his younger days he was a keen footballer and runner.
He leaves his partner Andrea, children Louise, Sarah, Nicola, Scott and Karl, brother Colin, sisters Sheila and Janet, sons-in-law, grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
He was also the father of the late David.
Mr Edward Joyce will conduct a humanist funeral service on Monday 20 October before cremation at Accrington.
