FRANKIE Vaughan fan Mrs Dorothy Wise, of Friar Court, Accrington, has died aged 71 in the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Originally from Haslingden, she had been employed at a slipper works and then worked as a stewardess of several clubs, including Ramsbottom Liberal Club.
The wife of the late Ronny, she enjoyed ballroom dancing when younger, socialising, holidays abroad and listening to music, especially Frankie Vaughan.
A member of Sydney Street WMC, she leaves a daughter Lynn and partner Stephen, son Chris and partner Sharon, grandchildren Lisa, Andrea and Iain and great-grandchildren Scott and Chloe.
She was due to be cremated at Accrington on Friday 31 October following a service conducted by Father Seamus Quigley.
