ACCRINGTON Stanley and Blackburn Rovers supporter Mr Derek Gordon of Fairfield Street, Accrington, has died aged 75 in the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The husband of the late Barbara Alice, he had been a production operative at Holland’s Pies for most of his working life and was a member of Spring Hill WMC.
Keen on watching sport on TV, he leaves a son Stephen, brother-in-law Ernie and was the uncle of Garry, Julie and Paul and great uncle of Jack.
He will be cremated at Accrington on Tuesday 18 November following a service conducted by the Rev Michael Ratcliffe.
