Henry Emmett

FORMER pipe layer Mr Henry Emmett, of Cross Edge, Oswaldtwistle, had died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 82.
Mr Emmett, known as Harry, worked for British Gas for 39 years.
He was a very well respected, highly regarded stalwart of the German Shepherd dog fraternity.
His wife Rose and his dogs were his life. The couple got their first dog in 1969 and went on to have eight champions, six of them bred by them.
Mr Emmett was involved in several GSD clubs and was a trainer for 20 years at Bolton GSD club. He was always willing to pass on his knowledge and to help newcomers. He leaves his wife.
He was cremated at Accrington on Wednesday 12 November following a service conducted by Father John Daley
