Roy Clegg

SECRETARY of Church Conservative Club for many years, Mr Roy Clegg, has died at his home in Park View, Church, at the age of 88.
The husband of the late Annie, he worked at Mullards for 25 years and had been church warden at St James Church Kirk for many years.
A keen Blackburn Rovers supporter, he leaves children Alan and Jean, in-laws Madeline, Leslie and Tom, grandchildren Kari, Sally, Leslie, Jason, Damien and James and great grandchild Natasha.
He was cremated at Accrington on Tuesday following a service at St James Church Kirk conducted by Father Neville Ashton.
