John Wolstenholme

A FORMER worker at Platt’s Engineering, Accrington, has died in Blackpool Victoria Hospital at the age of 86.
Mr John Wolstenholme, of Spindrift Rest Home, Lytham, formerly lived in Plantation Road, Accrington.
A member of St Anne’s RC Church, Accrington, he enjoyed dancing at Eagle Street Senior Citizens’ Centre, Accrington, and swimming.
The husband of the late Mary who died in 2000, he leaves children Maria and John and grandchildren Natalie, Andrew, Matthew and Robert.
He was due to be buried at Haslingden Cemetery yesterday (Thursday) following a service conducted by Father David Lupton at St James The Less, Rawtenstall.
