A MEMBER of St Mary’s RC Church, Clayton-le-Moors, Mrs Jessie Adams, has died at Woodlands Home for the Elderly, Warwick Avenue, Clayton, at the age of 95.
The widow of the late Frank, she worked at Jas Broadleys, Clayton, as a table hand for many years and enjoyed bingo, dominoes, cards and reading.
She leaves children Brian and David, daughters-in-law Irene and Margaret, grandchildren Andrew, Lesley, Paul and Sarah and great- grandchildren Abigail, Ellie, Jake, Maddie and Alice.
Mrs Adams, formerly of Spring Brook House, Clayton, will be cremated at Accrington today (Friday) following a service at St Mary’s Church conducted by Father P Tierney.
