A 13-year-old boy playing on his iPad was pushed to the floor during a bungled robbery in Accrington.
The youngster was walking along Ormerod Street when he was approached by an Asian youth who snatched the device off him.
During a struggle the offender pushed the teenager to the ground but as he made off he dropped the iPad on the ground.
DI Mark Vaughton said the device has been recovered and is appealing for anyone who witnesses the robbery or has information to call 101.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm on Friday, September 20.
