Welcome again to our Time-trip column.
Each week we will publish a set of pictures taken by our photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.
The pictures appear first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.
This week our pictures show Joanne Barnes setting off on her hen do from the Regency Pub, and Peter Britcliffe, mayor Miles Parkinson and Jim Dickinson, cutting an anniversary cake at Accrington Town Hall.
You can also see a double wedding at the Poplar Club Accrington, of couples Elaine and Neil with Lynne and Gary, and another celebration - a 21st birthday party for Lisa Bellas at the Brooks Club.
The pictures were all taken in the early 2000s.
