Firefighters tackle large fire at former NIPA Laboratories site in Oswaldtwistle

Firefighters have tackled a large caravan fire at the former NIPA Laboratories in Oswaldtwistle.

Crews from Hyndburn and Darwen were called to Nook Lane at around 6.30pm on Friday, October 2 and found the caravan on fire inside a derelict building.

They used a main jet to extinguish the blaze and no casualties were reported.

A fire investigation is still ongoing.
