Jewellery and personal items have been stolen from a house in Oswaldtwistle.

Police said burglars struck at a property on Aspen Lane between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on Monday, May 16.

Anthony Ford, watch liaison officer said: “The offender(s) approached the property from the field at the rear and forced a ground-floor window to gain entry. Personal items and jewellery were stolen. A police investigation is ongoing.”
