Cosmopolitan and bellini fans are being urged to take part in a cocktail night to raise money for charity.

The Plough pub in Oswaldtwistle will host the event featuring live music, canapes, a prize raffle and a disco.

People aged 18 or over will also be offered the chance to sample a selection of cocktails with proceeds from the sales of bellinis and tickets going to East Lancashire Hospice.

Bar manager Geri Maddock said they are really looking forward to the event.

She said: “It promises to be a great evening with a cocktail for every taste, live music, and hopefully raising lots of money for a fantastic local cause as well. We can’t wait.”

Hospice fundraiser Leanne Green added: ““The cocktail night will be a great way to unwind after a long week at work with live music from two great artists; Jessica Foster and Josh Hindle, canapes all evening, a raffle and disco.

“Bring your partner, mum, dad, girlfriends or boyfriends along for a fun fundraising evening.”

The cocktail night will take place on Friday, June 21 with doors open from 8pm.

Tickets cost £5 each and are available from the Hospice on 01254 733412 or The Plough on 01254 230203.
