A £5,000 REWARD has been offered for the recovery of this horse.

Sally, a four-year-old black and white heavy cob, went missing from a field off New Lane, Oswaldtwistle, where she was wintering, sometime between New Year’s Day and 9 January.

A witness told police they saw someone leading a similar horse away from the site around 7.30pm last Thursday.

Owner Julie Lee, 36, of Roundhill Road, Rising Bridge, is desperate to get the horse back as Sally is in foal and due to give birth in March.

She said: "She is a good horse but not overly-friendly. She is only four years old so she is still very young."

To help find Sally, a reward of £5,000 has been offered for any information leading to the successful prosecution of the person or people that took the horse.

Miss Lee said: "I hope someone out there has some information that we can use. Sally is very important to me and I would like to have her back."
