A man had to be treated for smoke inhalation after an oven fire at his house.
Hyndburn fire station crew manager Stephen Horrocks said the 33-year-old had fallen asleep on a settee and left the oven on.
The fire was contained to the oven however the house on Stanley Street, Accrington was badly smoke logged.
The man was given oxygen therapy at the scene by fire service personnel.
The incident happened at around 11.10pm on Wednesday, March 26.
