Creative Asian Crafts at East Lancashire Women's Centre

Women in Accrington are learning traditional Asian craft skills, such as henna painting, hand embroidery and beading

Creative Asian crafts classes are underway at a women's centre in Accrington.

Funded by Lancashire Adult Learning, Creative Asian Crafts is getting women interested in learning the art of traditional henna painting, hand embroidery, beading and textiles.

The free sessions, led by training coordinator Shahida Hafiz at the East Lancashire Women's Centre on Blackburn Road, have been running since last month and will finish in March.
