A man has been arrested after a police raid on a house in Clayton-le-Moors.

The 22-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Police swooped on the address on Pickup Street and discovered a number of snap seal bags of cannabis and a number of tablets. The drugs have now been sent for forensic examination.
