Ex-Observer owner in speech about history of newspapers in Accrington

Former owner Richard Crossley will be giving a speech entitled 125 Years of Accrington Newspapers next week.

The Whalley resident is the guest during the meeting of the Hyndburn Local History Society on Thursday, December 6. It takes place in the lecture room of Accrington Library, St James Street, Accrington at 7.30pm.

Visitors are welcome to attend individual meetings, space permitting.

Admission is £2.50 per meeting.

Subscriptions of £10 may be paid at any meeting.
