A MAN was rescued by firefighters after trapping his hand in a letterbox.

A MAN was rescued by firefighters after trapping his hand in a letterbox.

FIre crews were called out to a house In Clement Street, Accrington last Friday to help free the man who had locked himself out of his house and was trying to get back in.

The man was released within minutes of their arrival with no serious injuries.
