A free Easter egg and free match admission are being offered to children under 12 at Accrington Stanley’s home game against Leyton Orient.

Thousands of vouchers have gone out to schools across Hyndburn in the run-up to the Good Friday match with more available from the Reds’ shop in Accrington Market Hall.

The Easter eggs have been donated by the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Club.

Chairman Nick Westwell said: “Stanley are having a great season and vying for promotion and we want to encourage more young fans to come and enjoy the thrill of watching live football and cheering on their home team from the stands.

“With a free Easter egg to enjoy while they watch the match, it’s sure to be a great day out.”

The Easter eggs will be available from the supporters’ club table at Stanley’s Wham Stadium from 2pm ─ an hour before the 3pm kick-off.

They are available on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last, and each child claiming an egg must be accompanied by a full paying adult.

Under-12s enjoy free admission all season at Stanley’s home games if they are accompanied by a full paying adult.
