THE famous Fireside Fusiliers will entertain scores o0f guests with a dazzling showcase in aid of our Aspire appeal to save the Accrington Pals Chapel.
The Fusiliers are a group of men from all over Lancashire who pool their talents to provide a bonanza of music and comedy.
The show in aid of the Pals will take place on Friday 8 February from 8pm at the Park View Working Men’s Club in Clayton-le-Moors. It will include folk songs, rock songs, poetry and comedy sketches.
Les Bond, of the Fusiliers, said: "We are all really looking forward to the show. The reason we have decided to do this for the Pals appeal is because it is a cause close to my heart. I used to go round giving talks on St John’s and I think it would be a terrible shame for the church to close permanently."
Tickets are available in advance from Park View for £3 or they can be bought on the door. For more information contact Les on 394954.
