Next season will be Accrington Stanley’s tenth successive season back in the professional ranks of English football.

This modern golden period in the club’s history arguably started in 2002/03, when the club secured promotion to the Conference.

We’ve compiled a gallery of the Reds’ retro kits stretching back through the last 13 seasons, after their Northern Premier Division One triumph.

Among some of the more notable strips, the home kit for the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons shed the white altogether, while the 2003/04 home kit, which was memorably sponsored by Hyndburgh Borough Council, experimented with a navy blue piping, which did not stick around for long.
