A FREE help session to aid those confused by the digital switch over will take place on Monday (30 November).

Television in the UK is going digital. Between now and 2012, analogue TV signals will be switched off, region by region, and replaced with Freeview digital channels.

The Granada TV region began its switch on 4 November and will complete the process on Wednesday (2 December) when analogue TV will be switched off.

But Digital UK will be holding a drop-in event at Accrington Town Hall from 10am to 3pm to answer all your questions about digital TV.

These include when the switchover is happening and what the process is, what the options are for converting to digital TV, recording and aerials and how to retune a Freeview or digibox.

Anyone unable to attend a digital switchover event can ring the Digital UK helpline for advice on 08456 50 50 50 or visit www.digitaluk.co.uk.
