STUNNING students Jade Wright and Jacqueline Gregory have proved you can combine brains and beauty.

For they have made it to the final top 100 High Street Honeys in FHM magazine.

Jade, 19, of Pilkington Drive, Clayton-le-Moors and Jacqueline, 20, a former pupil of Rhyddings Business and Enterprise School, stand to land £10,000, a modelling contract and an appearance on the national magazine's front cover should they win.

Modest Jade, who has already appeared in an FHM feature Does My Bum Look Big In This? says she is pleased to make it so far.

She said: "I am still really surprised I have made it to the top 100.

"When my boyfriend submitted a picture of me I didn't think anything would come of it."

Jade, who is studying sport, theatre studies and English language at St Mary's College, Blackburn, wants to go to university to study exercise and nutrition.

But for now, she is hoping for as many votes as possible in FHM's competition.

University student Jacqueline, who is studying law in East Anglia, hopes to use the prize money to pay for barrister training in London.

Jacqueline, who attended Belthorn Primary School, said: "I am overwhelmed to have reached the top 100 out of nearly 7,000 hopefuls."
