Cases heard at Blackburn Magistrates:

Mohammed Shoaib Tariq, 21, of Greaves Street, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to taking a Nissan Almera without the owner’s consent and using a car without insurance. He was fined £130, ordered to pay £85 costs and given six points on his driving licence.

Saul Tootle, 22, of Avenue Parade, Accrington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at the Broadway pub. He was fined £60.

Roger Philip Porter, 43, of Deer Park, Accrington, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. He was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with a supervision requirement, a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 36 months, reduced by 36 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

Lisa Margaret Riding, 42, of Ribbleton Drive, Accrington, pleaded guilty to shoplifting while subject to a conditional discharge order. She was given a 12-month community order with a nine-month drug rehabilitation requirement, a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay £85 costs.

Anne Patricia Stokes, 36, of Edmund Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following her release from prison. She was given a four-week supervision order with a curfew requirement.

Leonard Paul Perkins, 24, of Chapel Street, Rishton, pleaded guilty to harassment. He was jailed for 26 weeks, fined £115 and given a five-year restraining order.

Callum Phillip Graham, 40, of Pansy Street South, Accrington, pleaded guilty to having 50 indecent pseudo-photographs of a child. He was given a 12-month community order with a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £345 and ordered to pay £85 costs..

Waheed Talib Hussain, 37, of Elizabeth Street, Accrington, was found guilty of sexually touching a woman over 16 when she didn’t consent. He was given a 12-month community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £120 and ordered to pay £100 compensation.

Bethany Buckley, 20, of Norfolk Street, Church, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Jenni Crabtree, 26, of Westwood Street, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Pamela Gaynor, 59, of Norfolk Street, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Donna Heywood, 31, of Garbett Street, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Patricia May Lomax, 57, of Brunswick Terrace, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £60 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Lindsy Mulleny, 31, of Ambleside Close, Accrington, pleaded guilty to using a television without a licence. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 costs.

Gail Newham, 55, of Bobbin Close, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 costs.

Beth Owen, 33, of Adelaide Street, Clayton-le-Moors, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £60 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Devon Rainford, 24, of Within Grove, Huncoat, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Amanda Wallace, 41, of Foxfields Close, Oswaldtwistle, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Kylie Watson, 26, of Clarence Road, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Jane Wheatcroft, 25, of Barnes Street, Clayton-le-Moors, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Nicola Burrows, 34, of Clarence Road, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend that school regularly. She was fined £220.

Shauna Herdman, 33, of Bobbin Close, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend that school regularly. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £100 costs.

Andrea Warburton, 38, of Norfolk Grove, Church, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend that school regularly. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £100 costs.

Zubeda Hussain, 59, of Persia Street, Accrington, was found guilty of shoplifting and while subject to a suspended sentence order. She was jailed for 14 weeks.

Scott Anthony Pettit, 41, of Horne Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to breaching the peace. He was bound over in the sum of £50 for six months to keep the peace.

Ian Johnson, 61, of Lawrence Street, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a 12-month community order with a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, a two-year restraining order, fined £20 and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

Benjamin James Green, 28, of Church Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to harassment and assault by beating. He was given a four-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, with a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement, a two-year restraining order and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

Luke Thomas Cornthwaite, 25, of Goodshaw Lane, Stonefold, Accrington, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigation. He was given an eight-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay £300 costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

Perry Fallon, 38, of Devonshire Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a seven-week community order with a curfew requirement, a one-year restraining order and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £200 costs.
