A knife-wielding robber threatened supermarket staff before making off with cash.

Police said the man, who was wearing a scarf to conceal his face, entered the Co-Op store in Oswaldtwistle.

He then pulled out a knife and demanded staff empty the till before making off with around £120.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Sunday, October 11.

A 37-year-old man from Accrington has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody for questioning.
