Look for familiar faces in our pictures from the 2000s

This week a high school reunion, nights out on the town, and salon girls at Accrington Carnival feature in our Time-trip column.

Each week we will publish a set of pictures taken by our photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.

The pictures appear first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.

This week our first picture shows Moorhead High School’s class of 1995 reunited at the Black Horse, Accrington. Among the former students were Lisa Anderton (nee Walsh), Erica Uttley (formerly Brindle) and Emma Barrett.

There are also two shots of locals enjoying a night out at Warner’s Pub in Accrington town centre, and a picture of Fitzy’s salon girls Charlotte Fitzpatrick, Jodie Hudson, Abbie White and Gemma Nolan, at Accrington Carnival.

The photographs were all taken in the early 2000s.
