TEENAGE sweethearts Sandra Catlow and Stewart Scott, who seized a second chance of love, were married at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors.

The couple enjoyed a fairtytale wedding and lavish reception at the hotel before being whisked off for a two-night stay at the Paris Ritz followed by a Mediterranean cruise.

Sandra, 44, who wore a stunning red dress with train, said: "I feel absolutely fantastic. The day is everything I thought it would be and more.

"It's been very surreal and we have been trying our best to hold it together and not get too emotional but so far the day has been unbelievable."

Stewart, 43, who is part of cabaret duo North Coast and lead singer in 60s band The Backbeats, said: "I'm elated. It's been fantastic even though we've had a couple of hitches with transport. I was on pins before the ceremony, more than I thought I'd be."

Earlier this month the Observer told exclusively of how the couple, of Scott Avenue, Baxenden, dated when they attended Norden High School, Rishton.

They then lost touch for 30 years until 12 months ago when by an amazing coincidence they got chatting on an Internet dating site.

At first neither realised they were talking to their first love but the penny finally dropped and love blossomed again, culminating in last Friday's dream wedding.
