An Accrington Martial Arts Academy is celebrating after bringing home a haul of medals from a competition.

The Masters of Martial Arts Academy, based at Oxford Street in Accrington, took a squad of ju jitsu students to the British Championships in Walsall.

The team returned with a number of medals and is now working towards getting a team organised to attend the United Nations of Ju Jitsu Championships in Copenhagen later in August.
