Firefighters rescued a nine-month-old baby girl after she got trapped in the family home yesterday.

Firefighters rescued a nine-month-old baby girl after she got trapped in the family home yesterday.

The incident happened at 6.15pm on Sunday, September 2 at a house on Abbeydale Way in Church.

A firefighter said the tot's parents had wandered into the back garden and the French doors closed behind them and somehow locked.

Crews used a ladder to get into the home via an upstairs window and the baby was reunited with her parents ten minutes later.
