An old ambulance was destroyed in a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters and police were called to an outbuilding on Blackburn Road in Clayton-le-Moors and found the ambulance ‘well alight’ when they arrived.
A fire service spokesperson said: “The fire is believed to be suspicious and so police were also in attendance and we are now carrying out an investigation.”
It happened at around 4pm on Saturday, September 5.
