Two town centre pubs will go up for sale at a major property auction.

The empty Kings Arms pub, on Lee Street, and The Spread Eagle pub, on Blackburn Road, are among six Hyndburn sites available in the Pugh Auction.

Three vacant retail units and a plot of land with planning consent for 14 homes are also up for grabs at The Etihad Stadium in Manchester on Thursday, April 23.

The Kings Arms pub with a beer patio and four bedrooms upstairs has a guide price of £60,000.

The Spread Eagle, including adjoining retail unit and three bedroom living accommodation, has a guide price of £50,000.

A 0.18ha plot of land off York Street and Church Street in Church is up for sale with a guide price of £140,000. Planning permission was approved in August 2014 to build up to 14 homes on the site.

Two neighbouring empty retail units on Whalley Road in Accrington are available, both with guide prices of £35,000, and one includes a separately accessed vacant upper floor flat.

Hyndburn House on Dutton Street in Accrington, previously used as a training centre, has a guide price of £75,000.
