Police want to speak to a man in connection with two burglaries and the theft of a quad bike.

Thomas Ward, 21, formerly of Broomhall Road in Pendlebury, Swinton, is wanted in connection with an aggravated burglary on First Avenue in Church on Friday, August 22.

Police also want to speak to him in connection with a burglary in Blackburn on Thursday, May 15 and the theft of a quad bike on Haslingden Road, Blackburn on Saturday, July 5, and want to trace him for failing to appear at Bolton Crown Court in relation to a number of burglary and handling stolen goods offences in the Manchester area.

Sgt Paul Gaynor said: “I am appealing for anyone with information on Thomas Ward’s whereabouts to get in touch.

“Similarly, I would advise anyone who may come across him not to approach him but to alert police as soon as possible. 

“We know that Ward frequents various caravan sites across the country so he could be staying in a caravan or motorhome somewhere in or out of the county.” 

Ward is described as white, 5ft 8ins, with green eyes and short brown hair.
