Officers would like to speak with a man regarding the theft of a number of DVDs from W.H.Smiths in the Arndale Centre on Friday, October 30.

Police have issued a CCTV appeal following a theft from a town centre store.

A police spokesman said: “Officers would like to apologize for the poor quality of the stills but would still like the public’s help in attempting to identify the offender.

“If you recognize the person in the still from the in-store CCTV footage please could you contact the Accrington town centre community beat manager PC 1183 Graham Hartley or PCSO 7672 James Southworth.”
